Baisakhi is one of them . It is one of the prime festivals of the Hindus and the Sikhs. It is celebrated to mark the harvesting of the first summer crop, mostly wheat. It is celebrated in the month of April every year. The formation of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Govind Singh in the year of 1699 is commemorated by celebrating Baisakhi. The idea at the core of this festival is to pray, socialize, and enjoy good food. People are joyful and excited on this day.
